This multimedia, training guide and video is designed to inform the early care and education community of the unique identity development of multiracial and transracially adopted children and the needs of their families.

The Educators Guide provides activities, readings and resources that encourage child serving professionals to enhance their cultural competency by examining biases and considering new ways to approach biracial and transracially adopted children and their families.

The Video Component includes footage from childcare facilities as well as family interviews that provide a vivid image of the importance of understanding the unique experiences of the multiracial family.

Use the Action Booklet as a guide to facilitate constructive dialogue & explore hands on activities with young people
about race, heritage & identity after viewing the film.
