Multiracial Americans of Southern California MASC caters to the needs of multiracial population; people involved in interracial relationships, and transracial adoptees, by bringing together these groups of people for discussion groups, social activities and educational opportunities. Loving Day The monumental day of June 12, 1967 when interracial marriage, dating, sex and living together were legalized, has been termed Loving Day after the trial of Loving vs. Virginia. Learn and celebrate this fantastic and often overlooked holiday. Association of Multiethnic Americans, AMEA A group in the San Francisco Bay Area established in 1988. Designed to represent the multiethnic community nationwide. A driving force and loud voice in the implementaion of the multiethnic category in the 2000 U.S. Census. Project RACE A legislatively aligned action and awareness group with a 10 year history of making space on ballots, standardized tests, and government forms for the multiethnic voter.
